Originally from central Mexico, Maku Yeika began his fever for collecting and mixing vinyl in 2002. Musical archeology has led him to discover those vinyl gems hidden among popular markets, nostalgic sounds, and old radio stations, in different parts of Mexico and South  America, specializing in 45 rpm records. With more than 20 years of experience, he has shared different parties under his Desierto Records label, sharing the decks with the Analog  Africa label, and playing in different nightclubs and bars in central and southern Mexico. As well  as in Los Angeles, California, San Diego and San Francisco. His mixes of Maku can take you through frantic sounds between Latin soul, going through exotic rhythms until delighting you with psychedelic tropical rarities, and cumbia, to continue dancing with a Latin funk.
